Author's comments The experts have said that classic High Fantasy is an overdone, worn out trope that no one is interested in any more; that D & D has done the form unto death; that there is nothing left to say about Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs; that it's all sparkly vampires and paranormal lovers now; that fantasy as we once knew it is no more.
