I was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on August 10, 1949, and raised in the St Louis, Missouri area. I have lived in Missouri, Southern California, the Chicago area, and now in Tacoma, Washington.
I worked for many years as an R&D machinist, toolmaker, and model maker, and was notorious for my lunchtime projects. Now that I am retired, I turned to writing as an outlet for my creative urges.
My interests include writing (obviously), model railroading, history and cultures, going to sci fi cons, and mondo juicyburgers; and I am noted for my warped sense of humor.
